Scholarships by Major
  • Alliance for Health - nursing scholarships, tuition reimbursement, or loans available to students in West Michigan.
  • American Chemical Society (ACS) Minority Scholars Programs - African American, Hispanic/Latino and American Indian students seeking to pursue undergraduate college degrees in chemical sciences and chemical technology.
  • American Institute of Certified Public Accountants - a list of organizations offering scholarships to encourage the pursuit of an accounting education.
  • American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation - several scholarships for students enrolled in an accredited undergraduate academic program leading to a degree in hospitality management; to download a brochure click here.
  • AT & T Undergraduate Research Program - for women, minorities studying specific majors; summer internship opportunity.
  • Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids - scholarships to high school seniors in the Grand Rapids area pursuing careers in building-related fields.
  • Michigan Council of Teachers of Mathematics (MCTM) - scholarships for high school students and college students pursuing teacher education program in mathematics.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) Undergraduate Scholarship Program (UGSP) - offers competitive scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research.
  • National Housing Endowment - four scholarship programs for students at the graduate and undergraduate level studying residential construction and related fields.
  • National Tourism Foundation - scholarships for students pursuing careers in travel and tourism fields.
  • NFAA Art Awards Program - scholarships for high school seniors in pursuing dance, film and video, music, theater, visual arts, voice and writing. 
  • Nursing Scholarship - U.S. citizen or national who is enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a professional registered nurse program as a full-time or part-time student in an accredited school of nursing. Professional programs include: master's, baccalaureate, associate degree or diploma schools of nursing. NOTE: Licensed practical nurse (LPN) programs are not eligible.
  • Paralegal Studies - scholarships for students pursuing paralegal studies.
  • Princess Grace Awards - a national program dedicated to identifying and assisting emerging young artists in theater, dance and film.
  • Saul T. Wilson Scholarships (Veterinary) - current college students only; completed at least 2 years of a 4-year preveterinary medicine or other biomedical science curriculum. Graduate student applicants must have completed not more than 1 year of study in veterinary medicine.
  • Tylenol Scholarship - students who demonstrate leadership in community activities and school activities and who intend to major in areas that will lead to health related fields.
